Our Birthstone Necklace is the perfect way to keep family members close to your heart.  Swarovski channel-style crystals can be worn individually or together on an 18" sterling silver snake chain.  Up to 5 crystals can be worn without crowding, but you may add as many as you like.  Still adding to your family?  Additional silver birthstone crystals can be purchased at any time.  Please note the colors for July and January are the same in Swarovski channel-style crystals.

History:
Birthstone jewelry, like our Birthstone Necklace, is rooted in the Bible. Many scholars agree that the tradition of birthstones began with the breastplate of Aaron - a ceremonial religious garment set with twelve gemstones representing the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve months of the year (see Exodus 28:15-30).

We use only the highest quality Swarovski crystals in our Birthstone Necklace.  Swarovski crystals have adorned the world's best and brightest.  Did you know replicas of the British Crown Jewels were crafted with Swarovski crystals?
