Heavy Soft Flex beading wire is lead-free and constructed from 49 strands of micro-woven stainless steel wire braided together and coated with nylon. This technology yeilds the most flexible and knottable beading wire in the world. Soft Flex beading wire is hypoallergenic. Since it is marine quality, Soft Flex beading wire can be worn in salt water and fresh water.
We recommend you consider the weight and abrasion level of the beads you are stringing in order to determine the appropriate diameter of Soft Flex Wire you will need. The thicker the wire, the better resistance to breakage it will have. Heavy Soft Flex beading wire has .024 diameter and was designed for abrasive materials and designs that will meet excessive movement such as watchbands and bracelets. It is great for multi-strand designs, African trade beads and large stones. Recommended when you are designing with a variety of materials. Crimp with our sterling silver crimp beads. Sold in a 30-ft spool.
