Jewelry Components

All of our jewelry components are the best quality available; from our solid sterling silver beads to our 49-strand nylon coated beading wire. We NEVER use silver plated beads so your jewelry will only increase in beauty over the years. 

Silver Beads

Our silver beads are all made of solid .925 Sterling Silver (92.5% pure).  Sterling Silver is 92.5% pure instead of 100% pure in order to achieve the hardness and stability necessary to resist wear and tear and hold its shape. Sterling silver can be antiqued (as in Bali beads) or polished to a mirror shine. We use both types of beads in our jewelry.

Bali Beads

The Bali beads we use in our designs are expertly handcrafted by silversmiths in Bali, Indonesia.  They are are .925 sterling silver and are exceptional in detail and quality.  No two are exactly alike and they add a distinctive character to our jewelry. Minor variations in design may occur due to current availability.

Swarovski Crystal Beads

Our birthstones are genuine Swarovski crystals and are manufactured in Austria. Swarovski crystal beads are unmatched in quality and elegance. They are the finest cut crystal bead product on the market. Each bead is machine-faceted, optically pure, 32% lead crystal with facets that have a brilliance and sparkle unmatched by other crystal beads.

Swarovski Crystal Pearls

We use genuine Swarovski crystal pearls that are manufactured in Austria. Unlike synthetic glass pearls, Swarovski crystal pearls have a leaded crystal core that makes them heavier and more like natural pearls.  The coating on Swarovski crystal pearls is similar to a natural pearl in luster and color. It is also resistant to perspiration, UV rays, perfumes, scratches and washing and warms to the skin similar to natural pearls.

Gold-Filled Beads

Solid 14K gold beads are not only very expensive, but they are very soft and prone to being scratched or crushed. 

Gold-filled beads are much more economical and practical than solid 14K gold beads.  They are 5% 14K gold by weight.  To make them, a thick layer of gold is permanently bonded over a base metal. They have 100 times more gold than gold plated beads. Under normal wear, gold-filled beads will not peel, flake, or wear off and can be treasured for generations. Gold-filled beads can be added to any of our bracelets.  Simply make a note in the "Special Instructions" box.

Beading Wire

Our beading wire is the strongest wire in the industry and is made with 49 strands of steel, coated in Nylon. It is the HEAVY (diameter = 0.024 inches) version so it should not stretch out or relax over time.
