More About the Owner of Beaded Royalty

The Rest of My Family
My husband is Doug and I have been married for 11 years. We dated 5 years before that so we have been together a long time. He is a Network Engineer and has more IT certifications than you can count on both hands.

We have 2 English Springer Spaniels named Maggie and Mindy. Maggie is 11 years old. When I am upset, she is the one who comes over and licks my face to let me know someone cares. Mindy is 9 years old and is the resident nutcase! She give new meaning to the name "Springer" Spaniel as she can spring 5 feet in the air and touch her nose to yours when she is excited. My Hobbies
Scrapbooking is a new interest of mine. I recently took all my old high school and college mementos and pictures from the "magnetic" pages of yesteryear and created scrapbooks that will last forever. Next I will immortalize my son Joshua's first 7 years!

Tennis is fun and I love to run, but I can't do either one of them with any regularity having broken my ankle 9 years ago. How did I break my ankle? Climbing a tree. What was I doing in a tree? Nothing worth breaking my ankle!

I love flower gardening.  Here was my garden at our house in PA in the early summer:



My Location
We recently moved Beaded Royalty from Pennsylvania to Texas. Yes, Texas! We were quite tired of the winters in PA and were up for a challange. It was one of the hottest summers on record and we still loved it, so I think it is safe to say we will love living here. We miss our family and friends up North, but thank goodness for electronic communication like email and Skype!
