Birthstone Mother Necklace

Details:
Our Birthstone Mother Necklace is 20" long plus a 2" extender.  "Mother" (or any name you choose) is displayed in solid sterling silver alphabet blocks.  Swarovski crystal beads represent each child.  The necklace is completed with Bali spacers and various textured sterling silver beads.  Up to 18 birthstones can be added.

You can also choose to display the name(s) of your child(ren) offset by birthstones.  Up to 4 names can be added for a small additional charge.  Click here to see an example.

History:
Birthstone jewelry, like our Birthstone Mother Necklace, is rooted in the Bible. Many scholars agree that the tradition of birthstones began with the breastplate of Aaron - a ceremonial religious garment set with twelve gemstones representing the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve months of the year (see Exodus 28:15-30).
