What is Ovarian Cancer?
Ovarian cancer is very aggressive. It is the fifth most common cancer in women. It is diagnosed in more than 25,000 women in the United States each year, and approximately 16,000 women die of the disease annually. The median age is 56, but it has been seen in women as young as 22. Classic symptoms include a bloated or enlarged abdomen, urinary urgency, constipation and/or diarrhea.
