We have created a special type of sorority jewelry using Swarovski crystal pearls, Swarovski crystals
(in sorority colors), and solid sterling silver beads. A "custom charm" representing
the sorority symbol can also be added for an extra $10.
Members of a sorority have a strong sense of family and belonging. They are proud to belong to a sisterhood and want the world to know it.
Our sorority jewelry is perfect for showing this type of loyalty.

History:
According to Dictionary.com, sorority means "a chiefly social organization of women students at a college or university, usually designated by Greek letters." If you have ever belonged to a sorority, you know that it means a whole lot more than that.
Alpha Delta Pi was the first secret Greek society for women formed in 1851. The term "sorority" was not yet in use, so it was referred to as a "women's fraternity" instead. The first women's national Greek organization to adopt the word "sorority" was Gamma Phi Beta in 1874.
Today, sororities are found on many college and university campuses across the US and Canada. In many cases, members of the sorority live together in a "sorority house" emphasizing sisterhood and providing a central location for events and administration.
Sorority jewelry is a wonderful way to show those around you that your
sorority sisters are a big part of your life.
